BEFORE Lucas Cruikshank created the "FRED" Charachter, he was himself.

While I also think he might be gay, who cares?? The kid is only 14 years old, and still learning about himself. I imagine it will be tough enough accepting his orientation given his religious upbringing, without the internet fame and speculation making it worse.

That is pathetic. Really. Are you just that jealous of someone else's fame and talent that you have to go trying to find what you consider to be something negative about them? While Lucas is finding a way to make people laugh and make a positive contribution to the world, you are being negative.

And does it matter? Is he less funny if he enjoys the company of guys rather than girls?

I don't care what his sexual preference is... he makes me laugh, not many people can make me laugh, he is a positive and joyful person who makes millions laugh and forget about their problems if only for a few minutes. Lucas is a damn good guy for that and I would proud as hell to consider him a friend... I could care less what hateful people think of him. Peace.
