Zac Efron drops more than $2,000 on Lap Dances & Booze @ NYC Strip Club

Squeaky-clean heartthrob Zac Efron and two of his pals spent more than $2,000 on lap dancers and vodka at a top New York strip club.

The Disney-produced "High School Musical" prodigy showed up at Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club on Broadway on Sunday night and stayed until 3 a.m., just hours before the New York premiere of his new family-friendly flick, "Charlie St. Cloud."

Efron, 22, with another male friend and his former "High School Musical" castmate Corbin Bleu, 21, took a shine to three pretty brunette dancers, showering them with cash and requests for personal dances, spies said.

A spy told us, "Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were dancing.

"They ordered one bottle of Belvedere vodka and were enthralled with the dancers. They were interacting a lot with the girls and reaching out and showering money on them. There were three girls who Zac and his friends particularly liked and they asked to do personal dances at their table."

Our witness continued, "The girls were all slim pretty brunettes, a bit like Zac's girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens. They were two Americans, called Shannon and Brandi, and a gorgeous Brazilian called Raquel.

"Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3 a.m. Monday morning."

That night, Efron walked the red carpet at the premiere of "Charlie St. Cloud." Hudgens was not at his side, although she attended the LA screening last week.

A rep for Flashdancers confirmed Efron and Bleu were there but declined to comment further. Efron's rep was on a plane and unavailable for comment. A rep for Bleu, currently starring in Broadway's "In the Heights," didn't get back to us.

Bret Michaels is used to gaining headlines these days, but we can bet that the last one he would want to see is that police found drugs one of his tour buses. Michaels tour buses were pulled over on Wednesday night in DeKalb County, Indiana and the police found marijuana and unidentified controlled substances while searching the vehicles.

Move over Holly Berry - Donald Trump just hired himself a PR disaster in the wing. Oh and you can forget about Trop-A-Rocka returning to the store shelves any time soon. Bret Michaels is facing criminal charges for marijuana possession. Michaels who is fresh from winning the Celebrity Apprentice after surviving a miracle set of injuries, now has another hurdle to over come, a drug scandal. Representatives from Dr. Pepper / Snapple Group declined to comment on Michaels brush with the law. They did however suggest the drink was already in plans to be taken off store shelves, the timing of the incidents were pure coincidental and pre-planned. Representatives with the company say that the beverage was a limited time only flavor and cannot guarantee it will be returning to store shelves, despite heavy sales. Fans have already been complaining the drink was hard to find when it was out on shelves. Another possible business deal for Michaels to lose, his chance at replacing American Idol judge Simon Cowell. With FOX not wanting to put themselves in any risk with controversy, sources suggest producers are working on distancing themselves from the story. American Idol is known as a family friendly program and with that-- comes family advertising dollars. This is not a risk the staff is willing to take.

"According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department, around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies pulled over two tour buses near the 137 mile marker on Interstate 69 near the Ashley exit.

"After getting license and registration information from the drivers, trained Narcotics Detection K9s found marijuana on both of the buses, as well as a quantity of Schedule II controlled substances on the first bus. Deputies then learned Bret Michaels was onboard the second bus during the traffic stop. Charges will be forwarded to the DeKalb County Prosecutor's Office for review." Rumor has it that Child Protective Services may require Michaels to seek drug counseling before being allowed back around his daughters.

The Toronto Sun reports that Michaels' publicist says, "No arrests were made. Mr. Michaels allowed an open search of the buses and everything was handled in a professional manner. -

Osburne, 25, and Worrall, 20, wereengaged in November 2008. Worrall stood by Osbourne during her rehab stint to treat an addiction to painkillers and supported her during the ninth season of "Dancing with the Stars," often sitting in the ballroom with her parents, Ozzy and Sharon.

NEW INFO: Andy Dick Sexual Abuse Case Headed to Grand Jury

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Comedian Andy Dick returned Tuesday to Huntington for a preliminary hearing on two sexual abuse charges.

Dick is accused of first-degree sexual abuse in two separate cases at a Huntington bar last January.

Assistant Cabell County Prosecutor Sean Hammers and Dick's attorney Mark Geragos questioned the first accuser who remains unidentified. He was working at he bar where the alleged incidents occurred.

"He (Dick) walked through the door, walked by me tried to walk into the club," the accuser testified. "I grabbed him and said, 'I need to see your ID.' He didn't have his license. He said it was stolen on the airplane."

Dick was performing at the Funnybone comedy club that weekend.

The accuser said after he put a wrist band on Andy Dick, the accused put his hand on his genitals.

"Turned around, there he is tilting his head smiling at me," the accuser testified. "I jumped back, shocked he actually did it."

During the cross examination, Geragos asked, "Did you kick Mr. Dick out of the club?"

"No," the accuser responded.

Geragos continued, "Did you ask him to leave? Did you do anything at all to make a report in the first 30 minutes after this happened?"

"I was in shock," said. "I couldn't believe he did it."

Hammers questioned the second alleged victim who accused Dick of kissing his neck and touching his genitals. He said he was trying to get a picture of Dick with his girlfriend in the noisy nightclub.

"As he was hollering, talking, he kissed my neck," the second accuser said. "As I turned around, it was shocking. I was trying to walk away, I felt a hand go in my pants."

On cross examination, Geragos identified discrepancies on one report regarding the date of the alleged incidents and whether the alleged victim could verify what was written on the report.

After all testimony, Magistrate John McCallister found probable cause to send the case to the grand jury. If both sides are ready, that hearing could be in August when the next grand jury convenes.

According to the criminal complaint, a security guard and a patron claim that the comedian abused them by grabbing their genital areas.

Police charged Dick with two counts of 1st degree sexual abuse.

Tuesday’s hearing took place in Cabell County Magistrate Court. Dick is being represented by well known celebrity attorney Mark Geragos. The hearing was originally scheduled for March.

Following testimony from the accusers, Magistrate Johnny McCallister bound the case over to a grand jury.

Dick was in town performing at the Funny Bone Comedy club when the incident took place.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – It will now be March before Andy Dick is scheduled to return to Huntington to answer sex abuse charges.

And when he returns, Dick could be represented by high-profile Hollywood attorney, Mark Geragos, according to officials in the Cabell County Prosecutor's Office.

An assistant Prosecutor tells WSAZ.com that a local law firm is helping to get Geragos approved to practice law in West Virginia so he can assist in representing Dick at the hearing.

According to several Web sites, Geragos' past clients include Michael Jackson, Winona Ryder, Scott Peterson Jeremy Mayfield and Chris Brown.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – If actor and comedian Andy Dick is found guilty of felony sexual abuse, he could face one to five years behind bars and up to $10,000 in fines.

Early Saturday morning, Dick was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.

The incident happened at Rum Runners on 3rd Avenue in Huntington.
According to the criminal complaint, a security guard at the club claims he was trying to put an armband on Dick when he became the victim of sexual abuse. The guard says Dick grabbed his crotch and began laughing.

Another man says that Dick sexually abused him. The man says he was talking to Dick when, "unexpectedly and without invitation," Dick "grabbed his crotch and began kissing him." This was witnessed by the victim’s girlfriend.

Dick was taken to the Western Regional Jail. His bond was set at $60,000. He has posted bond and was let go at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Dick has stated he will hire an attorney to represent him.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Cabell County on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. for a hearing.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Actor and entertainer Andy Dick has been charged with two counts of sexual abuse for allegedly groping two people at a Huntington bar.

A news release from Huntington Police says Dick groped a bar employee and bar patron while at Rum Runners bar on 3rd Avenue early Saturday morning. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m.

Police say the two victims claim Dick groped their genital areas against their will.

Dick is in Huntington to perform at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant. The owner of the club says Dick will perform his regularly scheduled shows.

Dick's bond was set at $60,000. He posted bond at about 3 p.m. Saturday.

Dick is in town to perform at the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant. No word on how his arrest will affect his shows at the club this weekend.

WSAZ.com was the only media outlet to get video of Dick after his arrest (click link above to watch). When asked why he was going to jail, Dick said it was for "people grabbing on me."

Dick will stay at the Western Regional Jail until he is arraigned later Saturday morning at magistrate court.

Obama lashes out at BP chief, using profanity towards Tony Hayward

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama said he would fire BP CEO Tony Hayward for flippant comments and lashed out at media "talking heads," ratcheting up his rhetoric on the 50th day of the US oil disaster.

United States president Barack Obama has hit out at BP's chief executive as oil continues to leak from a ruptured well in the Gulf of Mexico.

BP's CEO Tony Hayward has been criticised for once predicting the oil spill would be modest and for lamenting that he wanted his life back as the clean-up drags on.

President Obama says he would have sacked the BP boss for those sorts of statements, but he has also revealed he has never personally spoken to Mr Hayward.

As Obama Tuesday sought to contain further political damage over the greatest environmental calamity in US history, his top disaster aide reported more progress capturing oil spewing from a ruptured undersea well.

Hayward, whose sardonic English tones and comments, including a prediction that the Gulf spill would be "very, very modest," have irked some Americans, found himself directly in Obama's cross-hairs.

"He wouldn't be working for me after making any of those statements," Obama said on the NBC "Today Show," after being criticized for what pundits said was a too tepid reaction to the disaster.

Hayward has since apologized for his remarks.

Obama revealed he had not spoken to Hayward, since an explosion on the BP-operated Deepwater Horizon rig on April 20, saying there would be little point.

"When you talk to a guy like a BP CEO, he's going to say all the right things to me. I'm not interested in words. I'm interested in actions."

National incident coordinator Admiral Thad Allen however says he frequently speaks to the BP chief, seeking information, or ordering specific steps in the disaster mitigation effort.

Hayward can expect another tough ride next week: a key House of Representatives panel Tuesday said he would testify on the disaster on June 17.

Obama, who made the latest of his three trips to the disaster zone last week, insisted he had no time for playing politics -- though his comments seem to be taking on an increasingly political cast.

He told NBC he was looking for some "ass to kick" as recriminations mount and oil reaps a dreadful toll on seabirds, Louisiana wetlands, teeming fishing grounds and idyllic beaches.

He rejected claims he had been too cool, or slow in his response.

"I'm going to push back hard on this because I think that this is an idea that got into folks' heads and the media is running with it.

"I was down there a month ago, before most of these talking heads were even paying attention to the Gulf," he said.

The undersea effort to capture spewing oil is accelerating.

Allen said BP engineers had captured 14,842 barrels of oil over the last 24 hours from a containment cap placed over the well that blew on April 20, a significant increase from Monday's tally.

It remains unclear how much oil is spewing out of the busted wellhead, and officials have warned they will not be able to syphon off all of the excess crude until relief wells are dug -- likely not until August.

"We've gone from about 6,000 barrels up to almost 15,000," Allen said.

Upper government estimates of the volume of escaping oil hit 25,000 barrels per day -- but some private studies have hit a higher figure.

Underwater video footage of the wellhead, and the containment cap installed by BP last week, still appeared to show substantial oil escaping into the sea.

There was also sobering news on the scope of the environmental damage, as scientists said that they had found evidence of an undersea oil plume at a size of 3,300 feet more than 40 miles from the disaster site.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) said it had "fingerprinted" the oil to confirm it came from the BP well, though said the residue was currently at "low concentrations."

BP had previously said oil plumes, which could pose deep threats to marine life, had not been discovered.

Commentators have drawn parallels between Obama's handling of the slick, and his predecessor George W. Bush's botched management of Hurricane Katrina that devastated the same coastline in 2005.

Political warning signs over the disaster are proliferating.

A recent CBS News poll showed only thirty-eight percent of Americans approve of the way the administration is dealing with the spill.

A Washington Post/ABC survey revealed more Americans disapprove of Obama's response to the oil spill than disapprove of Bush's Katrina performance.

But the CBS poll also showed that 68 percent disapprove of BP's response, giving an insight in the administration's motivation for attacking the energy giant, given that political blame always seeks a resting place.

Ellen DeGeneres starts own record label, signs YouTube kid Greyson Chance

DeGeneres, who joined "American Idol" in January, will announce on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday that she is starting a record label -- eleveneleven -- and signing up 12-year-old YouTube sensation Greyson Chance as her first artist.

Chance, from Edmond, Oklahoma, was spotted by DeGeneres after posting a video of himself playing the piano and singing Lady Gaga's hit song "Paparazzi" at a sixth grade music festival on the web.

He was invited to appear on the DeGeneres' show on May 13, sparking huge interest in his video which has now been viewed over 20 million times.

Chance has also posted two original compositions on YouTube -- "Stars" and "Broken Hearts."

"Greyson ... inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven. He is my first artist and we are making a record together," DeGeneres said in a statement released on Tuesday.

DeGeneres said she will continue to use her show as a platform to find new artists, whom she will sign to eleveneleven. The record label is being set up in collaboration with Telepictures Productions.

Guy Oseary, Madonna's manager, and Troy Carter, Lady Gaga's manager, have signed on to co-manage Chance.

Shankman confirmed that Hairspray 2 is in the works, as he meets with writers this week to lay out the plot.

No word on casting yet but it's rumored that Efron & Travolta will both be returning.
